St. George´s Day

St. Georges´s Day is celebrated on the 23rd April. St. George is the patron saint of England and his emblem, a red cross on a white flag forms the flag for England. St. George was a brave Roman soldier who died fighting for his beliefs. There is also a legend that he fought and killed a dragon.
